At this time we are in production of mocap training lessons set. Bellow
you'll find a list of lessons that are already in line of production:
- Intro to mocap - What is it, how it works? Optical mocap fundamentals.
- Intro to MotionBuilder - basic character workflow:
characterization, automatic rigging, working with the default control
rig, and keyframe animation.
- Max-Maya-MotionBuilder workflow - bringing your models from your
3D application (Maya, 3DS Max) into MotionBuilder, automatic rigging,
retargeting motion capture data onto your character, plotting the
animation back to your character's skeleton and ready for integration
back into your host application.
- Demonstration of live mocap data streaming and realtime preview
on your character in MotionBuilder, mapping optical marker data to a
MotionBuilder actor, and plotting the data to the control rig.
This list will be updated. You're welcome to propose additional lessons themes.
